Forest Hill Area Guide
Forest Hill Area Guide
15 minutes into London Bridge, a buzzing high street and some breath taking views - what more could you ask for?
Named after the Great North Wood that once covered much of Kent and Sussex and nestled between Dulwich and Sydenham, Forest Hill is one of those destinations you may have simply passed through while trying to navigate the south circular. We certainly suggest you stop and take a look at this South London suburb!
Large period homes, converted flats, Victorian cottages, Twenties semi-detached houses, artists’ studio houses in a converted mews, Art Deco flats and modern blocks around the station mean Forest Hill has some of the most diverse property offerings on show.
Places of interest include the renowned Grade II listed Horniman Museum - which is home to one of the worlds finest taxidermy collections, Horniman Gardens & the tranquil and almost undiscovered Devonshire Road.
